PUBLIC NOTICE – RM of Coteau No. 255
Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the RM of Coteau No. 255 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 2-1981 known as the Zoning Bylaw.
INTENT The proposed Zoning Bylaw amendment will modify the Zoning District Map attached to and forming part of the Zoning Bylaw.
AFFECTED LAND The affected land is part of the NW ¼ and SW ¼ Section 34 Township 26 Range 7 W3M as shown in the red lines on the map below which is attached to and forms part of this bylaw.
REASON The reason for the amendment is to accommodate a proposed subdivision by rezoning the proposed Parcel A from the AR – Agricultural Residential District to the CC – Construction Camp District AND by rezoning the proposed 24 residential lots in blocks 1 & 2 from AR – Agricultural Residential District to RR – Recreational Resort District (identified in bold dashed lines on the attached map).
PUBLIC INSPECTION Any person may inspect the bylaw at the municipal office located in Birsay, SK during regular office hours. Copies of the bylaw will be made available.
PUBLIC HEARING Council will hold a public hearing for the Zoning Bylaw amendment on May 20, 2025 at 10:00am at the municipal office in Birsay, SK. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing.
